|
|
I am trying to make formmail work on my website. From my limited experience in these matters (from what I have read) formmail is used by millions of people on their sites to capture keyed in information on a form and then transfer it to a recipient.
Apparently the ISP says the keyed in results from the form is reaching their server but it isn't then being forwarded to my email system. In fairness to the ISP they have tried to help but none of us seem to be able to ensure the keyed in contents reaches my email address.
The code for the form can be seen at www.linicconsultants.co.uk/planning_permission.html
If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful for the input!
Thanks

I don't know much about Perl Scripts - which it looks like. Is it working yet?
The landing page(thank-you) sucks as well - not professional.
We can make one for you if you like - use your support ticket & we can quote for one - written in PHP. Assuming your web server supports PHP?
BTW - the font on that page is WAYYYY too small mate. People can be switched off with a small font. Yes, I know you can use the + button to make it bigger - but start off with it bigger!

Thanks Mike
I have now started to use AWeber for responses. (The thank you page was the least of my worries when I couldn't get things working so never really focused on that area).
I take your point about copy size I will increase the size, thanks for the input. When you are doing everything yourself its sometimes difficult to be objective.
Regards
