How big does a micro site / mini web site need to be?

Hi Chris. I would have to say that ideally a micro site / mini site / additional website would have to be bigger than 1 page really. If you look at things from Google's point of view, Google's never been too keen on those long 1 page sales letter websites / web pages, and you wouldn't want your website to be put into that category. Also, having more than one page is likely to give visitors more choice within the site, and probably improve their 'experinece'. Google also seems to prefer to deliver its search engine users to web pages / web sites which will provide a good experience, as well as being highly relevant to the enquiry, are important in terms of incoming links, and reliable in terms of not being spammy or dodgy pages. The upper size limit of you micro site, or perhaps better named 'other web site' can literally be anything you want really. Creating plenty of high quality , original, informative content could really help the page's chances in terms of optimisation and conversion.
