Hello Mike
Notwithstanding the valuable input you have made to our new site relating to copy size (working on that as we speak) I am keen to improve performance of the site.
As you and your team work with lots of websites and unlike lots of information on the web you don't have a hidden agenda I was wondering if you had a feel for what the real average conversion rate that is being obtained for a) PPC sites and b) natural listed sites. Obvioiusly this dynamic changes over time so I was looking for your latest take on this.
I realise there are probably a list of variables that have to be taken into account so I guess it might not be as straight forward as I might be thinking. But I'd be grateful if you could let me know your views.
As Architects, we are a services organisation and that is how the site is pitched.
This information would then allow me to benchmark our new site against the present average in order to assess its relative success in converting visitors to prospects within the industry.
Thanks
